This project gathers daily headlines for each S&P 500 company. It then collects headlines for each company and assigns a polarity score to them. Finally, it compares these sentiment scores with the percentage change in the stock price from yesterday's closing price to today's open price.

Applied multi-period Difference-in-Differences (DiD) models to analyze changes in patent activity growth rates in New Orleans vs. other counties before and after Hurricane Katrina. Utilized statsmodels library in Python to implement the statistical models and test hypotheses.
